Intensive Care Unit
Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a five bed Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The five private rooms are set up to monitor and provide life support to patients who are critical, or potentially critically ill or injured. Services include non-interventional cardiac care and cardiac monitoring, respiratory care including ventilatory support, pre- and post-surgical care and follow-up, as well as general medical nursing care as needed. Transfer to a tertiary hospital for services we cannot provide may be necessary based on patient condition, patient/family decision, and/or physician determination. Our ICU also provides post-anesthesia care as an adjunct to surgical services provided at OMH.
